Goodbye, Alitalia

Yes, it looks the state of affairs couldn't be worst. After the president of the Italian air hose abandoned the position, Alitalia right now is a hunting land for some of the large cats in Europe.

Air French Republic - KLM is already looking at the possibility, as well as Lufthansa and AirOne, that have the support of one of the most of import Banks in Italy, Intesa.

This could not be amusing at all for all the employees who can endure enormous consequences, but it looks that the cats in Ryanair really didn't give it a idea and establish out quickly a manner to do some merriment on the situation.

I noticed it for the first clip about 1 calendar month ago, when I was waiting in presence of the boarding gate at Girona Airport, stopping point to Barcelona, in Spain. One of the Ryanair aircraft that was arriving from Milano was landing at that time, and when it came closer I could read written on its side in large working capital letters: "Arrivederci Alitalia". For the 1s not familiarized with basic Italian, this literally intends "Goodbye, Alitalia".

I can conceive of the consequence that it can bring forth actually to take one of those flights from Alitalia, land at the airport, and suddenly saw through your window a Ryanair aircraft saying pass pass to your airline. At same time, the foremen in Alitalia musn't be happy at all about the situation, don't you agree?

In any case, and with all my respects for the situation, it is simply astonishing the manner Ryanair always happens the chance to do a spot of merriment of everything that brushes in the way. The news in their web-page are always a batch of merriment to read.

You can't conceive of the dirt they made when Easy Jet decided to subscribe up some trades with traveling agents, which according to Ryanair are the greatest parasites in the industry. Probably they are right, and surely the move will not profit Easy Jet, but they needed the money owed to increasing gasoline prices.

Furthermore, the last clip that I saw the chief executive officer for Ryanair in Scandinavian Europe, he was in a very of import meeting introducing all the new paths and was wearing a very fashionable tremendous Viking helmet. No words to depict it, I spent a batch of clip later to acquire a image of that!

In any case, I desire to wish the best hereafter to the cats in Alitalia, as they are nowadays providing with one good (not the best) option to traverse the Atlantic Ocean via Milan, at least between the high-fare airlines. And, come up on, they are Italians!
