India bags World Travel Award

NEW DELHI: Republic Of India have received
the World Travel Award as Asia's prima finish and prima government
tourist and convention bureau. Travel agents from 190 countries
selected the victors through ballot. The victors of the regional classes will
now vie for the human race class awards, which would be announced in December
this year. World Travel Awards - 2007 Asia was organised at
Bangalore recently, according to a fourth estate release. The above awards
are the consequence of the focused and successful "Incredible India" political campaigns in the
international marketplace coupled with sustained attempts to better the
infrastructure of cardinal heritage and tourer finishes of the country. Foreign tourer reachings have got increased from 3,91,399 in the month
of October last twelvemonth to 4,40,715 for the same calendar calendar month this twelvemonth registering 12.6
per cent growth. Foreign exchange net income increased to Rs 3021.62
crore in October this twelvemonth from Rs 2701.06 crore for the same calendar month last year,
reflecting a growing of 11.9 per cent.
